1. No Loans or Credit Products
JasonPay does not offer loans, credit facilities, overdrafts, buy-now-pay-later products, or any form of credit. Any third party claiming to offer loans through JasonPay is fraudulent. Report such incidents to fraud@jasonpaybank.com.
2. Reserve Risk
- Reserve rates are indicative and may change subject to market conditions and CBN policy
- Early withdrawal from Reserve may result in reduced or forfeited interest — terms displayed before locking
- Reserve is a savings product, not an investment. Capital is not at risk from market movements
3. Foreign Exchange (FX) Risk
- Exchange rates for USD and CNY wallets fluctuate with market conditions
- The Naira value of foreign currency holdings may fall or rise
- FX conversions are processed at rates displayed at the time of transaction — rates are not guaranteed after confirmation
- FX transactions are subject to CBN regulatory limits and may be restricted without notice
4. Transfer Risk
- Verify recipient account details carefully before confirming — errors may be difficult to reverse
- JasonPay will make reasonable efforts to recover misdirected funds but cannot guarantee recovery
- International remittance may be subject to recipient country regulations and delays
5. AI System Risk (JAY)
- JAY is an AI system and may occasionally misinterpret instructions
- Always review the transaction summary JAY presents before confirming
- JAY's tax and financial coaching is educational only — not professional advice
- Do not rely solely on JAY for regulated financial decisions
6. Esusu Risk
- Esusu group contributions depend on all members meeting their obligations
- JasonPay facilitates Esusu mechanics but does not guarantee other members' contributions
- Understand the group terms fully before participating
7. Security Risk
- Never share your PIN, OTP, or password with anyone — including individuals claiming to be JasonPay staff
- JasonPay staff will never ask for your full PIN by phone, email, or chat
- Compromised devices or credentials may expose your account to unauthorised access
