Banking for every Nigerian — regardless of age, literacy, or ability

Our Accessibility Commitment

JasonPay is built on a foundational belief: a person who struggles with reading should be able to send money, receive money, buy airtime, pay a bill, and understand their balance without needing someone else's help.

This is not an accessibility afterthought. It is the core design principle. Every interface decision — touch target size, colour contrast, language complexity, voice support — is evaluated against this standard first.

Built-in Accessibility Features

🎤

Voice Banking (JAY)

Every banking operation is available by voice. Say what you want to do — JAY handles the rest. No menus to navigate.

🌍

5 Nigerian Languages

English, Pidgin, Yoruba, Hausa, and Igbo. Automatic language detection. No language switching required.

👆

Large Touch Targets

All interactive controls meet or exceed 44×44pt minimum touch target size. Primary actions (Send, Receive, Pay, Confirm) are deliberately oversized.

🔠

High Contrast Typography

WCAG AA contrast ratios maintained across all text elements. Balance figures always displayed at large size with clear background separation.

📖

Plain Language

Banking actions described in everyday terms: "Send money", "Add money", "Save together". No financial jargon required to operate the app.

🌓

Light & Dark Mode

Full dark mode support. Respects system-level accessibility settings for colour and contrast preferences.

♾️

Classic Banking Mode

For users who prefer traditional navigation over AI conversation. Switchable in Settings → Interface Mode.
